Jerry Cirino, a Republican, plans to bring his considerable business expertise and proven leadership to our state government.
He and his wife, Donna, have lived in Lake County for over 40 years where they raised their nine (9) children. They now have 32 grandchildren, most of whom reside in Lake County as well.
Jerry, now a retired business executive, has spent many years leading companies in the medical device arena. He was the founding CEO of SourceOne Healthcare Technologies in Mentor, a company with sales in excess of $1 billion. He has brought hundreds of new jobs to Lake County and created numerous other job opportunities through relationships he has built with suppliers.
He has previously served as chairman of the board of trustees of Lakeland
Community College and served as a board member of Lake Heath Systems and Lake Erie College. Additionally, he continues to serve on boards of numerous companies and not-for-profit organizations. Since his recent retirement, he has been an active member of the Northeast Ohio community and provides consulting services to small companies.
A fiscal conservative, Jerry believes that government should be run by people qualified to evaluate future strategies and to properly manage the extremely large budgets that taxpayers entrust to them.
Jerry is not your traditional politician. He has decided to enter this race for the State Senate for the right reason; to secure a healthy and safe community with a promising future for all. He believes that his experience in managing large budgets, dealing with complex business challenges, along with his passion for success, will help Lake, Geauga, and Portage County secure a promising future.
Jerry’s campaign for Ohio’s 18th Senate District was launched in June 2019.
